"The reckless pursuit of utopia at all costs, even utopia"

Rules

Breakbeats, basslines, any tempo, any thing
Song/track must be multi-platform Renoise 1.9.1 XRNS files, no VST/VSTi/LADSPA plugins allowed
1 winner chosen, arbitrary criteria, heavy drinking

Prize

The winner may choose 1 of the following:

Registered copy of Renoise
Renoise T-Shirt and Mouse pad
Entire Trotch discography, mailed to you

How does the One Hour Compo work?

Go to #renoise
Receive sample pack link
Track your song in Renoise 1.9.0RC2 with the given sample pack
After one hour go back to #renoise and dcc or e-mail your song
Vote after getting the song pack
Win or not win

Rules

Your song should not give away your identity.
Use only the samples from the samplepack.
There is no theme or genre or whatsoever. Just hurry up.
Sample mashing inside Renoise allowed with built-in effects and features.
Do not vote for yourself.

BeatBattle 5’s Final Ranking has been published, so it is time to give all the winners their prizes. In fact, all plugins from CamelAudio, Crysonic, NUSofting and Tone2, and the Trotch discography, have already been given away. We are now collecting personal information from those who win the Renoise licenses and WusikStations.

At the moment of writing, we have sent e-mails to ranks 5 to 9. If you are one of them, please answer as quickly as possible, so we can proceed with the next ranks. We might have prizes for ranks up to 20, so stay alert.

Renoise’s epic music compo BeatBattle 5 ~Underwater~ is coming to an end. The final ranking will be determined and published tonight, 31 July 2007 at 23:59 + 2:00 GMT. After that time, althought it will still be possible to rate and review, the outcome of the compo cannot be influenced anymore.
