Renoise News articles removed from In:Depth’s home page

Due to popular demand, all articles in the Renoise News category are now removed from In:Depth’s home page and main feed.

With this change, we hope to increase attention on the real purpose of In:Depth: tutorials and technical articles related to Renoise.

The news articles can be accessed through the Renoise front page, the Renoise News category and the Renoise News feed.

Why commenting on articles did not work

Conner_Bw told me he was not able to comment on articles. And he was right. The cause was incompatibility of one plugin with another one I installed on 16 May 2007, screwing up the comment form. I am surprised that it took over a month for someone to notify me.

Anyway, you should now be able to comment again. Next time you notice something, please tell me immediately.

Welcome to Renoise In:Depth! This is our very own web magazine about music production with Renoise. Whereas the Wiki is the equivalent of the product manual, In:Depth explains features and production concepts in greater detail and shows how Renoise is used in practice.

We’ll be serving up a whole range of articles written by members of the Renoise Community. Expect to see many different tutorials on commands, effects, mixing, mastering, recording, samples, synths and song-craft. Also, we’re going to do some fun stuff like artist interviews, song round-ups, competitions, and interesting reflections on the Renoise experience. The aim is to provide a valuable resource for Renoise users looking to take the ‘next step’ in their work.

And In:Depth is on the lookout for contributors from the community! If you feel you’ve got some knowledge, skills or wisdom to share then get in touch with us, or even just leave a comment. You can consider our motto as: for the community, by the community.
