MG Compact Recorder Strip

MG Compact Recorder Strip is a compact non-modal Renoise recording toolbar for monitoring the active input device, quickly recording to samples, and optionally soloing a selected track with looped pattern playback during takes. The record button flashes in sync with the BPM of the song (above 130 BPM, it flashes every two beats).

v1.5 update - 2026-08-11: When “New sample per take” is enabled, each sample occupies a single note slot creating a “drum kit” layout with each new take automatically inserted on the next available note slot and names the samples “Take_[Number]-[Duration in seconds]”
