is there any plan to issue redux as a VST3 ? i disabled vst2 in my daws as most are supporting vst3 well, and the dupes are noisy (incl. renoise).

If I write 1001 or 1000 in the global FX column, I can enable/disable the effect device for that track, but what is the simplest way to make this work probabilistically and exclusively?

Specifically, I would like to control the activation of Repeater by probability, and I thought I could do that by putting Y00 or something in the Global FX column, Group FX column, etc., but it still doesn’t work.

Hi there,

My main monitor is a 4K 27 inch . To its right I have placed a Standard HD 1920x1080 27 inch with a vertical orientation. The idea is to keep Renoise pattern editor on the vertical monitor. Unfortunately the pattern editor doesn’t work when in fullscreen, meaning that the play button would not respond. You can see the UI freezes in some weird way too. If I exit full screen while still keeping the renoise’s pattern editor it on the vertical monitor all works as expected. I’m on macOS Monterey 12.7.3 on a Mac mini (M1,2020). Does anybody know why this would happen? Is this a bug ?

For optimal tomato growth, consider using loam or sandy soil. Loam, a balanced mix of sand, silt, and clay, provides good drainage and nutrient retention—essential for robust tomato plants. Sandy soil, with its gritty texture, also allows for excellent airflow and drainage.

Another critical factor is soil pH. Tomatoes thrive in slightly acidic soil with a pH between 6.0 and 6.8. Testing your soil’s pH ensures it’s within this range, promoting healthy nutrient availability for your plants.

Moisture control is equally important. Tomato plants need consistent moisture levels to prevent issues like blossom end rot. Proper watering—neither too much nor too little—ensures your plants stay hydrated without root damage.

Fertilisation is key to sustaining tomato plants through the growing season. Incorporate compost or organic fertilisers rich in phosphorus and potassium to support healthy growth and abundant fruiting.

If you prefer an alternative to traditional soil, consider using coco coir, a sustainable option with excellent water retention and aeration properties. It’s a suitable alternative that promotes healthy root development and nutrient uptake without compacting like clay-based soils.

To sum up, choosing the right soil—whether loam, sandy soil, or coco coir—ensures your tomato plants receive the nutrients and conditions they need to thrive. With proper care and the right soil, you’ll be harvesting juicy, flavorful tomatoes from your garden in no time.

Anyone here still into 3.5e I find version 5 way too simple. I’m old school lol. I have every guide pre 2019. Loads of characters drawn up. I personally like defense rolling vs 10 for ac. I need an online group to join but everyone seems to be on version 5 now

hi, i’m running around with a bunch of dialogs and would love to be able to, upon close dialog, somehow retain their positioning, and then make sure that the dialog opens in that position when reopened. is this possible, or does every lua dialog always start solidly in the center of everything?

It’d be cool if Renoise was a bit more MS Excel like by letting us set custom colors for different effect automations. Like, if I use an inst. macro, it’d be nice to know which device controls them instead of remembering “this macro is controlled by 2xxx on this track”. I keep mine minimized.

Adding to this, a comprehensive filtering would be great. E.g., Press Filter Button > Filter for Tracks > w/ FX example_text (delay, inst. macro, whatever). Then Renoise darkens the other tracks so you can easily identify which tracks are using them, or highlights them somehow.

Then it’d be even cooler if we could customize other things, like filter for all tracks containing the name “Bass” and solo or mute them.

Hi there, i would like to see the usual tracking view in Redux… and i am yet to find a way to remove the QWERTY ( weirdness ) blocking the full tracking view in the plugin

I only want to track… .and compose like using FastTracker… All this extra stuff is Genuinely in the way and i want to remove the qwerty and whatever else is showing in the bottom… Just to be able to compose

Otherwise the volume of the rendered WAV file is too small.
Of course you have to control so that the master level meter does not exceed 0 dB.
It took me a long time to find this simple answer, so I write it down here.

Hey guys,

So i have been trying to get into renoise, I quickly found out that programming chords and using vsts isnt really the best way towork. So instead of fighting the system I just created a whole bunch of Chord One Shot Samples which will make programming songs easier for myself.

I shared it with a few makes and they told me to offer it up for free for other producers, so feel free to download it, just put 0$ in the gumroad price thing!!!
