Business Plans: The Key to Building a Strong and Sustainable Business
Greetings to everybody.
I wanted to express my views on the value of business planning in creating a successful and long-lasting company. For entrepreneurs, a well-written business plan acts as a road map, directing them through the many phases of their endeavor. It aids in outlining their objectives, plans, and financial predictions, offering a clear path for achievement.
Professional Business Plans are essential for drawing in investors, obtaining money, and building reputation in the marketplace. Entrepreneurs may demonstrate their knowledge of the market, industry trends, and competitive environment through a thorough business plan.
A business plan also serves as a guide for making decisions, allowing entrepreneurs to weigh risks, spot opportunities, and adjust to shifting conditions. It offers a structure for monitoring development, establishing benchmarks, and determining success.
Entrepreneurs may take use of the experience and market understanding of professional business plan writers to develop a strong and persuasive strategy. These professionals are aware of the components needed for a strong business strategy, such as market research, financial forecasts, and competitive positioning.
professional business plans are essential for building a strong and sustainable business. They serve as a strategic tool that enables entrepreneurs to navigate challenges, attract investors, and achieve their long-term goals. Whether you’re starting a new venture or looking to refine your existing business, investing in a professional business plan is a worthwhile step towards success.
I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with professional business plans. Please feel free to share your insights and ask any questions you may have.

No way to jump to next slice marker?
I know there are some old topics on this but I just want to make sure: There’s still no way to jump from one slice marker to the next?
This would be really helpful since Renoise and REDUX are (somewhat inexplicably) still very bad at setting markers by themselves. Zooming in and out and scrolling through a loop manually is extremely tedious and clicking on the sample on the sidebar brings up the isolated sample with the slice marker on the left screen margin, so it offers no way to adjust the slice marker backwards in the timeline.
If I could jump from one slice marker to the next, showing it centered on the screen that would shave literally 80% off my slicing time. Am I missing something of is there really no way to do this?

Colorable GUI blocks (besides buttons)?
Hey all, I’m working on a tool to give zoomed-out views of the struct of a song in renoise. (see below)
To acheive this I have a popup window where I redraw the tracks x patterns with their blocks.
my question is: am I missing some sort of vb:object that can be drawn in a grid and colored? — right now it seems that the only thing I can use to grid ‘images’ in the GUI (grids of colorable blocks) is buttons; textfields, aligners, etc all have their respective ‘styles’ but non can have their colors set directly like buttons.
I’d rather use something more low impact than a button, because I don’t need them to be buttons; just a display - would even be open to color text for an ASCII grid type display.
any thoughts?

Tuning drum kits
Hey! Does anyone know the typical tuning (I mean, like by scale degrees) of various drums?
E.g., iirc kick drums are typically the root note, and snares often the fifth but in not sure, and am curios as to things like hi hata etc… Is there any good guide out there or do folks here know?

Colorcoded - a patch for starters (notes):
Hi! This is a simple color coded patch for beginners. The four colors are YELLOW, GREY, WHITE & RED. This is what they represent:
Yellow are gates/pulses (the rhythm)
Grey are CV (control voltages) that control pitch and modulations
White are audio for left channel audio
Red are audio for right channel audio

Playing multiple instruments from MIDI input at the same time
I’m wondering if there is another way to play more than one instrument at the same time via the MIDI input to layer sounds. So far, I’ve manually set the MIDI input to the same channel for each instrument and vice versa, which is not a very quick workflow.

A much needed feature in Renoise!
Hello dear friends,
Recently, I was working on the next cover of my new release in a graphic editor, and the following thought came to me: Why is there no Global “Lock” button on channels and tracks in any DAW? It would be great if Renoise became the first DAW to have such a button on every channel. I think that such a function is very necessary for any producer, since I personally work on large projects, and sometimes the number of channels or tracks reaches 100. In such arrangements, you can accidentally hit any parameter of any channel, inadvertently turn up or down the volume, hit some either the regulator from the filter, or move a pattern to the wrong place, maybe delete it by mistake …
Such a button will serve as a lock that will disable the entire channel and prevent any accidental modifications while the “Lock” button is enabled, as in graphic editors, when we Lock a layer so as not to miss with it.
I would like to draw the attention of the developers to take this suggestion into account, because, in my opinion, such a button will simply make life easier for many producers who often work on huge projects.

Sliding Instrument Midi Control and Automation
There doesn’t seem to be any way to slide or interpolate between the device’s parameter values in the pattern editor fx column. I’m talking about a fx command for internal hi res, sample rate slides. I’d like to be able to slide and/or interpolate between values just like with samples. Old school vst and midi automation please:)

Ambisonics + Renoise automation?
Hellooo,
First off, I’m completely new to ambisonics and have no idea what I’m talking about. So, in general I’m trying to actually wrap my head around how ambisonics and Renoise can even work together (ie. In general do people just slap on a conversion VST on the MST? What’s a common interface people use for all the outs? etc.)
Ultimately what I’m really hoping/dreaming is that there is a way to connect tracker automation to create rhythmic ambisonic shifts in space. Does anyone have experience in this realm? I suppose you would need a VST that accepts midi data for spatial changes?
edit: if there are specific VSTs you’ve found work nicely with Renoise for conversion I’d love to know!
thx! -e

- Waveform switch
- Display controls for alpha, full-/half-wave, amplitude (vertical zoom)
- Real-time display adjustment for amplitude
- Synchronized with Autoseek

Can't find VST Plugins on Linux
I tried scanning for my vst files and nothing showed up. On windows I usually have an option on this screen to change the search directory but there isn’t on linux for me. So I tried to move my vst to a directory that it already searches for, but for some reason it is still not finding my vst plugins. Here is a screenshot
In this screenshot when I ran renoise in the terminal it shows that it looked in a directory where my vst folder was, labeled usr/local/lib/vst/
And here is what is inside the folder
I’m not sure how to fix this issue I tried looking through the FAQ document for linux, any help would be appreciated

Cross fading multiple instances
is there an algorithm that compensates for the two volumes getting lower in the center of the cross fade… available in midi mapping?
that is, if you inverse the min/max settings on each “instance”…
the only option is to switch quickly between the two, with no real nice sweet spot of having both running at equal volume
// just curious \

Hard Techno Drums with no samples or synths. Only Renoise!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/1W9_pp90oaA
Hello dear friends and Techno lovers,
I made this quick tutorial using the Almost Drums tool to generate all the sounds.
I used macros to control some open hats parameters for automating (During the track) + a kiскsтart2 vst for fast sidechaining (You can use your own method).
Almost Drums is a great tool. I have been using it for a long while to generate some kicks and quick hats. For the rest types of sounds, i think it still needs a bit of improvements.
Enjoy!

[BUG] Volume Column - 3.4.1
Video : Renoise Volume Column Bug - YouTube
Sorry for the low volume of my mic, here the explanation:
BUG: When change the VOLUME in the VOLUME COLUMN it kills the sample.
Important to know, this is a old track from 2008 which I’m porting to 3.4.1 to do some tweeks to render and master for release, it’s was working PERFECT in the old versions of Renoise.
Back to the bug…
The first exemple show working fine when keeps the same values, but when it changes simply kills the wave as you can see.
In the other exemple with the vocals (sorry that I take a little time to figure out, I did this track in 2008 and was remembering how I did)
I have 2 takes in this case, 1 it’s a full verse take with a not so good start, then I have another take with just the start of that verse.
So I keep the original take starting as VOLUME 00 at the same time I start the other take with VOLUME 80 in other track, so when the other take ends, I set the VOLUME to 80 at the full take and keeps until the end of that verse.
But in that case, the full take never starts, which is wrong. If I try to do a fade in didn’t work as well.
So there’s a bug in the volume column which is not working right.
- when change the volume kills the sample
- if start with 00 never starts
Please fix ASAP.
thanks
PS: I already know how to have the same result in other ways, but I don’t want to change several of my tracks again, since I already did that to OF0 works which stopped since 3.0.0.

Osirus-en-Vexin by Divine Electronics
Not much to say here, sequenced in Renoise, the sounds are mostly VSTs such as DSP56300 Emulation Blog and some Korg Monotron for Effects… Enjoy

Learning about sample-loops/ahmens removed my interest in Break-Beat music
It was like a “Santa Claus is not real, it’s uncle Bob who puts the presents there” moment.
Naive young me, many years ago: thought that the drum bars, solos and loops in jungle/breakbeat/breakcore etc types of music were recorded with a drummer, or someone played it on midi-pads or someone programmed a drumm-achine to do all the ‘Td-Bum-Bum-Thssh-D-Tp-Tpm-Thsss’ stuff - note by note on an editor grid.
Now I can’t listen to that stuff - I just see Renoise or FL Studio patterns.
