Renoise 3.4.4 cannot detect u-he Tyrell N6 vst
Analyzer low frequency area broken @96kHz
The analyzer in Renoise works quite nicely while using it at 48kHz sample rate. Here is a shot:
But if you switch to 96kHz, now the low bass area seems to be flawed. Same song, similar area:
It’s like there is no analysis below 43,50 Hz anymore…
I also like the speed of the peak fall much much at 96kHz, maybe 48kHz could be the same?

Problems with Spectrasonics VST3 parameter names
Renoise version 3.4.4 is not quite functional in cooperation with VST3 Omnisphere II, from Spectrasonic. It does not work in automation import, nor does editing the name of the effect specified in automation. Which is a great pity. I contacted both parties, both Spectrasonic, which provided its Omnisphere II software set, and Renoise programmers. The answer was that it will work in the next update. I’ve been waiting for a year now, no feedback from Renoise yet.

Renoise, Sound card 5.1 speakers (7.1) headphones, question Tracks and use asio4all
Good evening people, I played a melody in a track. and I have a creative soundblaster AE-5 Plus, and the program asio4all with which I can also switch from master to other 5.1 speakers in Renoise Tracks when Routing, you have Master, Front L/R
, Rear LR and Center/Sub, now I come back to the one melody that I played and recorded, if I select that to another track, for example Front/L, I could then select all the notes at once and then make another sample, because as far as I know a sample cannot be used at the same time in 5 speakers and a subwoofer, is there a possibility in Renoise to record an entire song, for example what I have played, in a few steps with click 5.1 speaker set can make, I really hope to know a possibility, with making this intention,

Sample editor: A single toggle button "record output"
Might be useful, if the sample editor had an additional toggle button for recording the live output of the master.

Show dB value/y-position while mousing cursor over sample editor
Perhaps it would be good if the sample editor also displayed the volume in dB, based on the y-position of the mouse cursor on the sample, right next to here:
The x-position could be displayed all the time, too.

How does Exx work, in detail?
This command doesn’t have a ton of documentation. Trying it out in Renoise, increasing values appear to start playing the sound ‘later’ into the envelope. So if the sound has a long attack, you can bypass it by using, say, E20, to start at the highest part of the envelope and bypass the ‘sloping up’ part. But a few things I’m unsure of.
-
How is the envelope divided up when using these command effects? Does E10 always play a particular part of the envelope, for example, or perhaps it’s always ‘slice’ 16/256? Is there a way to always hit the top of the attack?
-
Any plans to fix the playhead? The playhead visually always starts at the beginning of the envelope no matter what, so even though (for example) EC0 sounds like it immediately starts in the sustain portion of the envelope, the playhead cycles over the entire ADHSR curve.

How to easily make a slice/loop in sync with beats
Hello, I am currently trying to find ways to create small looping chops in rhythm with the song’s BPM, and I struggle with the ergonomy of it.
My current method to create a triplet loop from a long sample is the following:
- set LPB to 3
- in the waveform tab, set the bottom scale to “beats”
- manually select a chunk as close as “1.1.1” as possible
- manually put slice or loop markers on your selection, or right click > copy to new sample / instrument
- set the LPB back to 4
step 4 can be finicky since any misclick makes you lose your selection and you have to start over from step 3.
Do you know a way to snap slice / loop markers to selection, or to show the position of slice / loop markers at the bottom of the waveform tab the same way the position of the current selection is shown?

Highlight lines command/automation
I would love if there was a highlight lines command!
If not maybe the ability to automate the highlighted lines…

Ability to reorder knobs in Doofer
It would be super cool to have ability to reorder knobs via drag’n’drop in Doofer.
Sometimes I have to assign knobs from scratch (instead just to move some of them to keep customized and logical order for automation commands like 11xx, 12xx, 13xx, 1nxx).
Thank you.

Request: Send multi tracks to send chanel
Hello!
Can you please to make the signal output directly to the send chanel for plugins with multi-channel outputs?
Sometimes this is really not enough to avoid creating unnecessary chanels.
Thnx !

Idea: Various modes for recording?
Maybe it would be helpful, if Renoise was providing additional recording modes:
“drum mode”
The first some kind of live sorting of notes to columns or tracks while recording. This obviously is very helpful for drums and non harmonic sounds. Currently you have to manually sort notes or use tools afterwards. This is a very slow and inconvenient workflow.
This mode simply could be called “drum mode”.
“sort mode”
The second one could simply sort the notes by pitch. I think this might be helpful for accord recording. Currently if you have chords, usually the appearance of the same note is kinda random, placed by timing, which makes no sense anymore with post- or live-quantization.
At least while live quantization is enabled, Renoise actually could automatically sort multiple notes by pitch.
I understand that Renoise currently seems to lack of such an recording buffer, which these features would require. But maybe almost anything recording related could benefit from such a buffer?

"Renoise Quit Unexpectedly" message when I exit Renoise
Hey all,
Love Renoise and it works really well and runs super solid. However, I get a ‘Renoise Quit Unexpectedly’ message every time I exit Renoise (ie Quit). It’s not interfering with making music or anything but it’s just a little annoying. I’ve tried making the ‘No Template’ as the startup so that it’s not loading any plugins and it’s still happening - so doesn’t seem to be as a result of plugins being loaded.
Would be interested to know if anyone has experienced this and found a solution?
Thanks

A00 should repeat the previous Axx setting
just like with every single other tracker.
just like how renoise already does it with D00 and U00 and G00.
how come A00 is the only one that goes "oh, let me ignore the previous Axx setting?

Controlling macro controls over internal midi routing (from plugdata)
Seems that it’s not possible
1 -create a sample based renoise instrument and assign some instr. parameters to the macro control
2-Insert the macro control device
3- Insert an instrument plugin to control renoise instrument over midi (I use pure data ) , while it’s now possible to sequence the renoise instrument over internal midi from plugdata , it’s still impossible to control the macr controls (using ctlout )
I’ve used plugdata ctlout (using cc 74 ) but nomatter what , the macro controls do not respond , even when insr.midi ctrl module is inserted

Gaming Keyboards
Full-sized, wireless, with macros, and a touchpad(emergency purposes ) is what I’m after but can’t seem to find something decked out like that. Corsair seems to be my best bet.
Anyone using full sized gaming keyboards with macros or perhaps touchpads?
