Instrument

Random Plug

A tool that suggests a random instrument and a random effect plug to load. Also when a plugin instrument is loaded and makes its presets available in renoise you can select them at random using the Preset button which will have turned green.

-V0.59 When the sampler is focused with a selected fx device chain, the plug will load the effect there instead of to the main track

ScaleMate

ScaleMate offers quick access to the built-in instrument scales in Renoise, organized by the number of notes.

If the user-interface is visible, the currently set scale and key are shown there. Push a button to select. Alternatively, use the available keyboard shortcuts / MIDI mappings.

Whenever you select a scale or key, you can tell ScaleMate to write this into the pattern (technically, a MIDI command). This also works while recording, and allows you to switch scales on the fly.

xCleaner

This tool can automatically detect and correct a large number of issues in Renoise instruments. It has been designed for content-creation, and is meant to be used as one of the last steps before publishing.

Here is the complete list of issues that the tool is aware of:

Midi Management Console

What is the Midi management console about?
The midi management console offers a birds-eye view to your midi attachments to your instruments as well as it makes it easier to chain instruments to one midi device (instrument layering) and allowing to edit multilayered recordings without the hassle of having to manually edit a multiple of the same note to have it deleted or added in each track each chained instrument was recorded in.

PadSynth

PadSynth is a sample generator that uses the algorithm designed by Nasca Octavian Paul. The idea behind this synth is that you describe the frequency spectrum of a sound, by assigning values to its harmonics. The sound is then generated from this spectrum, but with a twist: a "spread" is applied to the harmonics, so that the sound feels more "natural", less exact and digital.
